2026 Hopewell Valley 5K and Fun Run
The Hopewell Valley 5K and Fun Run is a community athletic event held at Hopewell Valley Central High School in Pennington, New Jersey. The event features multiple participation options taking place on and around the school grounds, including:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The 1 Mile Fun Run is conducted entirely on school property. The 5K course is certified by the USATF and is part of the 2026 USATF Grand Prix Series with a point value of 500. This event is USATF sanctioned and accommodates both general participants and USATF members.
Registration and bib pick-up take place at the Timberlane Middle School Cafeteria on the morning of the event. All activities proceed regardless of weather conditions, including rain or snow. Participants who register by March 6, 2026, are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from 15 and under up to 90+. Proceeds from the event support senior activities for the local high school classes of 2027 and 2028. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
