Hoosiers Outrun Cancer is a run and walk event held in Bloomington, Indiana. The course covers part of the Indiana University campus and starts on the north side of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Event options include timed road races and a virtual Spirit option that allows remote participation and shirt-by-mail.
Distance options include:

- Spirit Run/Walk virtual participation, shirt mailed
Awards are offered in the 5K to adult top finishers in male and female age categories. The 1 Mile awards are given to top youth finishers in male and female age categories. The Spirit option counts toward team size for team awards, allows submission of a finish time for recognition, and does not include a race bib.
Since 2000 the event has raised over $5.3 million to support people affected by cancer in south central Indiana. Funds from the event helped establish Cancer Support Community South Central Indiana. That organization operates an office in Bloomington and provides free programs and services such as counseling, support groups, nutrition and exercise classes, art and music therapy, reiki, oncology massage, educational presentations, social activities, a wig boutique, youth art backpacks, comfort kits, and financial assistance for food and transportation. In 2025 these programs were attended 5,179 times by 1,250 people. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
