Greene & Schultz Hoosier Half Marathon, 5&10K
The event takes place on April 11, 2026 and marks the 20th running of the Greene & Schultz Hoosier races in Bloomington, Indiana. The race base is Ivy Tech (200 N Daniels Way). Distances and event options include:

Registration prices listed for 2026 include $40 for the half marathon, $30 for the 10K, $20 for the 5K and $5 for the 1M Kids Fun Run. The reduced prices introduced in 2024 are being kept for 2026. Prices increase after December 31, 2025.
Course, logistics and awards
Course routing highlights the Karst Park greenway and nearby sites. The 5K runs around Cook Medical and up to the NW YMCA before returning to Ivy Tech. The 10K continues past the YMCA onto the Karst Park greenway and then reverses back to Ivy Tech. The half marathon extends along the Karst Park greenway to Ellettsville and then reverses back to Ivy Tech. The start and finish were moved to the back courtyard of Ivy Tech beginning in 2025. Entrants should use the Ivy Tech 3rd Street entrance; Daniels Way and Zenith Drive will be closed on race day. Packet pickup is held at Ivy Tech. There is no gear check and parking is beside the start/finish.
Top three male and female finishers in the half marathon receive a unique award. Age-group awards are given for the 5K, 10K and half marathon across listed age brackets. The 1M Kids Fun Run receives a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
