Event overview
The Greene & Schultz Hoosier Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 1M Kids Fun Run is an annual road and greenway race held in Bloomington, Indiana. The event offers these distances:

Entry fees listed include $40 for the half marathon, $30 for the 10K, $20 for the 5K and $5 for the kids fun run. A free pacer option for the half marathon is also offered with limited spots.
Course, logistics and awards
The start/finish area is at Ivy Tech in Bloomington, with the course using local landmarks and the Karst Park greenway that extends toward Ellettsville. The 5K loops near Cook Medical and the Northwest YMCA; the 10K continues onto the Karst Park greenway; the half marathon follows the greenway to Ellettsville before returning. The start/finish was moved to the back courtyard of Ivy Tech for 2025 to improve parking and traffic flow.
Packet pickup is available at Ivy Tech (200 N Daniels Way) on the Friday and Saturday before race day. There is no gear check; parking is adjacent to the start/finish and race-day entry is via 3rd Street. Daniels Way and Zenith Drive will be closed on race day. Awards include unique top-three male and female half marathon awards, age-group awards for 5K, 10K and half marathon, and a finisher medal for the kids fun run.
