Hoosic River Run
The Hoosic River Run takes place in North Adams, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The event returns for a second year and adds a half marathon to the program. Routes include sections along the Hoosic River, pass art installations at MASS MoCA, offer mountain views, and run through downtown North Adams.

The 1 mile walk uses an out and back on the 5K route. Course maps and elevation profiles are provided for the 5K and the half marathon. Packet pickup is available the day before at Building 1 at MASS MoCA and on race day at the start line.
T shirts will be available in adult sizes XS through XXL and are guaranteed for participants who register by August 19. All 5K and half marathon finishers receive a commemorative race medal. Age division awards will be given for the 5K and half marathon in the following categories: 12 and under, 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. A ten dollar student discount applies to the 5K and half marathon for ages 13 to 22. Children 12 and under may enter free in all distances.
