Second Annual Hoosic River Run
The event takes place on September 19, 2026, at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts. It returns for a second year with multiple distances and routes that highlight local scenery and public art.

- 1-Mile Walk (untimed)
- 5K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
This edition adds a half marathon, noted as the first race of its kind to run through North Adams. Course descriptions indicate mountain views, sections along the Hoosic River, passages by art installations at MASS MoCA, and stretches through downtown North Adams. The 1-Mile Walk follows an out-and-back on the 5K route.
Registration is open and tiered pricing applies by date. Price ranges listed for each distance include early, standard, and race-day rates. A $10 student discount applies at checkout for the 5K and Half Marathon for ages 13 to 22. Children 12 and under are free, applied at checkout.
Packet pickup includes an early bib pick-up on September 18 at Building 1 at MASS MoCA and race day registration and bib pick-up at the start line on September 19. T-shirts in adult sizes XS–XXL are guaranteed for registrations by August 19. All 5K and Half Marathon finishers receive a commemorative medal. A post-race celebration will include music, refreshments, and age division awards. Age divisions are 12 & under, 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
