Honor Run 2026 - KCSEBA
The Honor Run 2026 is the 12th annual benefit run presented by the Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association. It takes place on March 7, 2026 in Section 2 of Hart Park, Bakersfield, CA, with parking available around the park and near the event site.
Event distances and categories include:
- Honor Run 5K Open
- Honor Run 10K Open
- Honor Run 1K Kids, open to ages 5 - 10
- Honor Run 5K Public Safety
- Honor Run 10K Public Safety
Proceeds will be donated to the Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association to assist families of fallen deputies by providing scholarships for children. A portion of funds will also support the Sheriff's Activities League supervised youth activities and programs across the county.
Online registration closes on March 2, 2026, and shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed prior to February 5, 2026. Race day registration fees are listed as $50 for the 5K and 10K and $10 for the Kids 1K; these amounts do not include online processing fees. A pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for March 5, 2026 at the Kern County Regional Training Center, 962 Norris Road, Bakersfield.
Medals will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each division, and there will be a runners raffle. Participants may walk the route, strollers are welcome, and leashed dogs are allowed with water bowls provided at turnaround points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
