Honor Run
This is the 12th annual Honor Run, organized by the Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association. The event takes place at Hart Park in Bakersfield, California.
Proceeds support the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association to assist families of fallen deputies by providing scholarships for their children. A portion of the funds also supports the Sheriff's Activities League (SAL) youth programs in the county.

Event Details
The race starts at Section 2 of Hart Park. Parking is available around the park near the start area. A packet pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kern County Regional Training Center (962 Norris Road, Bakersfield). Online registration closes on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Participants may walk the route, and strollers are allowed. Leashed dogs are permitted; water bowls will be provided at the turnaround points. After the race, medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division, and there will be a runners raffle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
