Event details
The Honor Run 2026 - KCSEBA takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Hart Park, 7000 Alfred Harrell Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93308. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K - Open
- 10K - Open
- 1K - Kids (open to ages 5-10)
- 5K - Public Safety
- 10K - Public Safety
Online registration closes on March 2, 2026. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed before February 5, 2026. Race day registration is available for the 1K, 5K, and 10K events. Prices are listed for each event on the registration page.
Charity, logistics and amenities
This is the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association 12th Annual Honor Run. Proceeds will be donated to the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association to assist families of fallen deputies through scholarships, and a portion will support the Sheriff’s Activities League youth programs.
The event begins at Section 2 of Hart Park, with parking available around the park. A pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for March 5, 2026, at the Kern County Regional Training Center, 962 Norris Road, Bakersfield. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division and there will be a runners raffle. Walking is allowed, strollers are permitted, and leashed dogs are welcome; water bowls will be available at turnaround points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
