Honor Run 2026 - KCSEBA
The Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association presents the 12th Annual Honor Run on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Hart Park, 7000 Alfred Harrell Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93308. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K - Open
- 10K - Open
- 1K - Kids (open to ages 5 - 10)
- 5K - Public Safety
- 10K - Public Safety
Purpose and logistics
Proceeds will be donated to the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association to provide scholarships for children of fallen deputies and to support the Sheriff's Activities League supervised youth programs. Online registration is shown with prices of $48.70 for the 5K and 10K events and $11.60 for the 1K kids event (fees included). Online registration closes on Monday, March 2, 2026, and shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed prior to February 5, 2026. Race day registration is listed at $50 for 5K/10K and $10 for the Kids 1K (processing fees may apply).
The race begins at Section 2 of Hart Park; parking is available around the park and near the event site. There is a pre-race packet pick-up on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Kern County Regional Training Center, 962 Norris Road, Bakersfield, 93308. Medals will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place in each division and a runners raffle is planned. Participants may walk the route; strollers and leashed dogs are permitted, and water bowls will be available at turnaround points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
