Event Overview
The Hometown Half Marathon - Toledo is a local collection of races designed for participants of various ages and abilities. The event features several road race distances held in Toledo, Ohio. All participants receive a designer shirt and a custom finisher medal as part of their registration, provided they register by the specified shirt guarantee deadline.

Race Details and Features
The Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k events are chip-timed and include live results and awards. To assist runners in the half marathon, pacers are provided on the course. The 1 Mile event and the Kid's Dash are untimed distances. The Kid's Dash is specifically for children aged 10 and under; children who do not wish to receive the medal and shirt can participate in this dash for free.
In addition to timing services, participants have access to free event photos. After crossing the finish line, runners are provided with treats. There is also a youth-based pricing structure for the 5k and 10k distances for participants aged 12 and under.
For those unable to attend the in-person event, a virtual race option is available. Virtual participants can complete their chosen distance at any location and will receive an event shirt, digital bib, and finisher medal by mail. There is also a "Volunteer Then Run" option where individuals assist with packet pickup before participating in their race of choice.
