The Home Run 5k takes place on June 6, 2026, in Americus, GA, at Americus First Methodist Church, 200 S. Lee St, Americus, GA 31709. The event program includes the following distances and formats:

The route begins at Americus First Methodist Church and winds through historic homes in the surrounding neighborhood. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the Americus Campus of The Methodist Home.
Practical information
Each participant receives a t-shirt and snacks at the finish line, while supplies last. Finisher medals are available to all children under 14 and may be provided to adults upon request as supplies last. Packet pickup is held at Americus First Methodist Church on race day.
The 5k uses the following age group categories: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. The event recognizes first, second, and third overall male and female finishers, and first master overall male and female. Overall winners receive a cash prize and are ineligible in the age group categories. All winners receive a piece of artwork created by residents of the Methodist Home.
