Home Run 5k - Americus, GA
The Home Run 5k takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Americus, GA. The event is based at Americus First Methodist Church, 200 S. Lee St. Event options include:

- 5k Virtual Race
Registration prices listed are $25 for the 5k, $10 for the Fun Run, and $30 for the Virtual 5k. Prices increase after June 2, 2026. Virtual registration closes on June 6, 2026.
Course, awards and race services
The on-site route begins at Americus First Methodist Church and winds through neighborhood streets with historic homes. Packet pickup is provided at the church on race day. Each participant receives a t-shirt and finish-line snacks while supplies last. Finisher medals are provided to children under 14 and to adults on request, as supplies last.
Age group categories for the 5k are: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. The race will recognize first, second and third overall male and female, and first master's overall male and female. Overall winners receive a cash prize and are not eligible for age-group awards. All winners receive a piece of artwork created by residents at the Methodist Home.
