About the race
The Hearts-N-Motion 5K: Heart of Jesse Fundraiser is the first annual 5K charity run and walk taking place on February 27, 2027 at Oglethorpe Park, 500 Sumter Street, Oglethorpe, GA 31068. The event is hosted by Heart of Jesse Foundation, Inc in partnership with the City of Oglethorpe Police Department.
The fundraiser has a stated goal of $10,000 to purchase AED devices and other heart-related resources for placement at various locations throughout Macon County. The race is described as a charity event and for fun only; it is not a qualifying event.
