About the race
The Holy Smokin' Jamboree 5K Run takes place at Mother Teresa Catholic Church in Topeka on September 12, 2026. The running event is part of a larger community gathering that includes BBQ, music, a car show, games, and activities for children.
Race offerings include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1/4 Mile Kiddie Run for children under 10
Registration is handled through RunSignUp; the published entry fee is $30. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after September 1, 2026. Packet pick-up is available on the event day at Mother Teresa Catholic Church. A pancake breakfast is offered for a free-will donation.
Awards are presented to the top two male and top two female finishers overall and to top finishers in each age bracket. Winners must be present to receive awards; awards will not be mailed.
