Holy Cannoli 5K and 2 Mile Walk
The event takes place in downtown Springfield on July 11, 2026, with the primary venue at Main Street and Winthrop Street (13 Winthrop Street, Springfield, MA 01105). It includes two distances:
- 5K
- 2 Miles
The 5K is a loop through downtown described as flat and scenic. The course features clearly marked routing, mile markers, a water station at the midpoint (about 1.5 miles), and police-supported intersections. The 2 Mile Walk starts near La Fiorentina and returns to the Italian Feast area.
The event is part of the Italian Feast. The finish area and post-race activity are located at the Italian Feast, with cannoli available at the finish. A portion of proceeds supports awareness and fundraising for Cooley's Anemia.
Registration opens March 18, 2026 and closes April 18, 2026. Fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 2 Mile Walk. Registered participants who meet the registration cutoff by June 15 are listed as eligible for a technical race shirt. The event notes that it is rain or shine, allows strollers, and has a no refunds or transfers policy.
