Holy Cannoli 5K & 2 Mile
The Holy Cannoli 5K and 2 Mile Walk take place on July 11, 2026, in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, around Main Street and Winthrop Street (13 Winthrop Street area). The event is held in conjunction with the Italian Feast.
Distances
- 5K: flat, scenic loop through downtown Springfield; starts at Main St and Winthrop St.
- 2 Mile Walk: starts in front of La Fiorentina and returns to the Italian Feast.
The 5K course is described as a loop through downtown with clear route markings and mile markers. A water station is located at the midpoint, approximately 1.5 miles. Intersections are supported by police for course safety.
Post-race activity is tied to the Italian Feast and includes music and community activities. Cannoli will be available at the finish line, provided by La Fiorentina Pastry Shop. Awards are given across multiple age and gender categories; overall male and female winners receive a large cannoli and a $100 prize.
Registration opens March 18, 2026, and closes May 14, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 2 Mile Walk. The event is described as rain-or-shine; no refunds or transfers are allowed and strollers are welcome.
