Hollywood Beach Half Marathon and 5K - Fall
The Hollywood Beach Half Marathon and 5K takes place at Hollywood North Beach Park in Hollywood, Florida. The courses run along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and follow the shoreline, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and sections of beach adjacent to the route. The event includes two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
Water and electrolyte drink stations are provided about every two miles or less. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit. Participants receive a finisher medal and a choice of technical t-shirt or cotton tank, subject to availability at packet pick up. Early packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Runner's Depot in Davie and race day packet pick up is available at Hollywood North Beach Park.
Awards for the half marathon are given to the top five finishers in each age group, with age groups ranging from 1-10 through 75 and older. Live timing is used so results are available immediately and awards can be presented shortly after crossing the finish line. Parking near the venue is limited to a little over 1,000 spaces; organizers recommend carpooling, biking, or staying at nearby lodging. An athlete guide is released the week of the event.
