About the Event

This event is hosted by the Holley Institute and celebrates the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. It is a 5 km run and walk that welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, including families.

The race features professional timing. Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, and there are age-group awards. Every participant receives a custom bib.

Amenities and Activities

Before the race, Starbucks coffee and pastries are available. Activities include face painting for children and colorful interactive inflatable sculptures. A refreshment zone is available after the race.

American Sign Language interpreters will be provided.

After the event, participants and guests can use the park amenities. These include a sandy beach, a splash pad called the Squirt Zone, playgrounds, nature trails, fishing areas, a Nature Center with exhibits, and paved hike and bike trails.
