Holley Jolly 5K Run/Walk at Lake St. Clair Metropark
The Holley Institute hosts the Holley Jolly 5K Run/Walk at Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, Michigan. The event includes a professionally timed 5K and a separate free 1-mile fun run for children ages 12 and under. Paid 5K participants receive a custom event T-shirt and a running bib. Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, and a cash prize of one hundred dollars is given to the first place male and first place female based on official timing.
American Sign Language interpreters will be available. Event amenities listed for participants and families include free coffee and pastries before the race, free face painting, family activities, colorful inflatable sculptures, and a refreshment zone after the race. The park offers a sandy beach, splash pad, playgrounds, nature trails, a nature center, fishing areas, and paved walking and biking paths.
Registration details: registration opens February 4, 2026 and closes May 15, 2026 for the main 5K. The kids 1-mile fun run is free and has a separate registration period that runs through May 30, 2026. The 5K registration fee is $35.
