Hollands Duin Trail
The Hollands Duin Trail is a trail running event based at Vrijstaat Nederzandt in Noordwijk. The event leads runners directly into the dune area and alternates between singletracks, sandy sections, dune ridges and stretches along the beach and through nearby forested paths. The organiser lists this edition as the 15th.
All routes are fully marked with arrows and ribbons. Start times are organised in one-hour start blocks so participants may begin within their assigned hour; there is no single mass start. Participants receive an information email about one week before the event and the GPX file on the Thursday before the event.
Practical details apply to all distances: disposable cups are not provided, so participants are asked to bring a racecup or order one as an extra. A pop-up Trailrunning Shop is present at the event offering race vests, shoes and other trailrunning items. Medals are available as an extra ticket and may be purchased at the event if supply allows. The event has a maximum physical attendee capacity of 1460 and is not free.
