Event Overview
The Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk is a charity sports event held in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Taking place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the event offers participants an exclusive on-foot "sneak peek" of the Making Spirits Bright holiday lights show in Evergreen Park before it officially opens to the public for the season. All proceeds from the event support the Sheboygan County Food Bank to provide nutritious food for local families.

The event features multiple options for runners and walkers:
- 5K Run: A professionally timed race on an accurately measured course.
- 1-Mile Walk: Organized in three separate waves (Wave 1, Wave 2, and Wave 3).
Participant Experience
Participants can enjoy various onsite amenities and activities. The first 500 registered individuals have the opportunity to receive a goodie bag containing giveaways from sponsors and community partners. Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies are provided, and there is a photo opportunity available with Santa. Food trucks are also present at the site.
Following the physical activities, an award ceremony and after-party are held at the 3 Sheeps Brewing taproom. To further support the cause, the event includes an onsite food collection where those who donate three food items can enter to win door prizes.
Location and Logistics
The event is centered at the Sheboygan Jaycees Quarryview Center Area and Evergreen Park. For children aged 12 and under, registration for the walking waves is free of charge.
