Holiday 5K and Kids 1 Mile, Phoenix
The event is a charity run in Phoenix, AZ benefitting Marines Toys for Tots through monetary donations. It is organized as a community run/walk open to families and all ages, with both live and virtual participation options for the 5K.
Registration information: early registration is $35 for the 5K and $25 for the Kids 1 Mile; prices increase by $5 on 12/1. Registration closes on Friday, December 18, 2026 at 9:00 PM (GMT-7). Entry is limited to 250 runners.
Race features and services: all finishers receive a finisher medal and a lapel pin. Bib, wristband, snacks and raffle entry are included in the race packet; no packet pickup is necessary. This event will provide medals only and will not include shirts. The 5K is chip timed and includes age group awards across 15 categories. Water, snacks and popsicles will be provided on course.

The course is described as flat and follows the canal at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, with parking at the Lutheran church just north of the park off 56th Street. The event is dog and stroller friendly, though a short trail section is not paved. Virtual 5K entries receive shipped packets during race week; the Kids 1 Mile is not available virtually.
