About the race

The HOKA HALF Cape Town is a road-running event scheduled for 13 February 2027 in Cape Town, Western Cape, with the exact venue to be confirmed. The programme includes three entry categories:

5 km - FUNRUN
10 km - HALF A HALF
21.1 km - HOKA HALF

Entries include a R1,000 HOKA shoe voucher, official event socks, professional race timing, a goody bag, a finisher's medal, and access to hydration stations. All categories feature live DJs and on-route entertainment; the 21.1 km and 10 km categories also offer a Party Lane experience and access to a post-race festival. The 5 km route permits pets and prams; these are not allowed on the 10 km or 21.1 km routes.

Event facilities listed include a tog bag / bag drop area left at the participant's own risk, HOKA retail and merchandise, food vendors, coffee stalls, a beer garden, and chill zones. The event offers two race experiences described as Go For The Win for faster runners and Anything But a Runner for themed or costumed participants. Final batch allocations, seeding information, and the venue will be communicated closer to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
