HOH 5K Run/Walk
The HOH 5K is the sole fundraiser for the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund. The event is organized by the Northbrook District 28 PTO Council with volunteers from Greenbriar, Meadowbrook, Northbrook Junior High and Westmoor. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.
The main event is a chip timed 3.1 mile run/walk that uses a group start format. Strollers are welcome; dogs, bicycles and rollerblades are not permitted. The parking lot behind Northbrook Junior High School will be closed while the race is underway. Results are available to participants immediately after they finish.
There is also a kids fun run for children age 6 and under. Registration for the event opens on March 7, 2026 and closes on April 13, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer include $30 for adults (18+), $25 for children (5-18), $15 for the kids fun run (ages 6 and under), and a $20 option to purchase an event T-shirt.
