HOH 5K Run/Walk/Roll benefitting the D28 Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund
The HOH 5K is a community fundraiser for the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund held in Northbrook at Northbrook Junior High School. The event is organized by the Northbrook District 28 PTO Council with volunteers from Greenbriar, Meadowbrook, Northbrook Junior High and Westmoor. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.
The program includes a chip timed 5K for runners and walkers, a kids fun run for ages 6 and under, and the option to purchase a T shirt without race entry. Strollers are welcome; dogs, bicycles and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. Race results are available immediately after finishing and will also be posted online.
Early registration guarantees a T shirt for registrants through April 11. Fees vary by age group and registration period; early and later registration prices are listed by the organizer. Pre race packet pickup is at the Northbrook Library Pollak Room. Race day packet pickup is available behind Northbrook Junior High School.
Age group awards are planned for overall male and female 5K winners and for male and female finishers across standard age divisions. Additional recognition is provided for elementary school top finishers by grade level. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
