Event details
The HOH5K Run/Walk/Roll takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Northbrook, Illinois. The event is organized by the Northbrook District 28 PTO Council with volunteers from Greenbriar, Meadowbrook, Northbrook Junior High and Westmoor. Proceeds benefit the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund. The venue is Northbrook Junior High School, 1475 Maple Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K - adult and youth categories
- Kids Fun Run - ages 6 and under
The 5K is chip timed and results are available after finish. Strollers are permitted; dogs, bicycles and rollerblades are not allowed.
Registration, packet pick-up and awards
Early Registration through April 11 includes a guaranteed T-shirt and lower fees. Published fees are: early registration $30 for adult 5K, $25 for youth 5K, $15 for the kids run; later registration listed at $40 adult, $35 youth, $20 kids run. T-shirts may be purchased separately during early registration.
Packet pick-up is offered the day before the race at the Northbrook Library Pollak Room for those who register by April 30. On-site packet pick-up is available behind Northbrook Junior High on race day.
Awards include overall male and female 5K medals, age-group medals for specified male and female 5K finishers, and elementary school grade-level awards for first place boys and girls announced the following week.
