Hogweed Trot 10k : 08 June 2026

The Hogweed Trot 10k is a road race held in memory of a late member of the Hogweed Trotters who died unexpectedly in Autumn 2008. The event takes place in Yate, Bristol, with Race HQ at Yate Town Football Club, Lodge Road, BS37 7LE.

The course is a flat, fast route on quiet rural roads with kilometre markers. The course carries Certificate of Course Accuracy No - 23/434. The race is chip timed and medals are awarded to all finishers. Water is provided approximately mid way and at the finish.

At Race HQ there is parking, toilets, a bar and limited changing facilities. A supervised baggage facility is available at runners own risk and the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Details about race day parking will be provided closer to the event. A group warm up will be provided before the race.

Entry rules require runners to be at least 15 years old and to have parental or guardian permission on race day if underage. Use of in ear or ear covering headphones is prohibited; bone conduction variants are permitted. Dogs are not allowed in the race. Pacemakers may be provided to target sub 40, sub 45, sub 50, sub 55 and sub one hour times.

Prizes include awards for the first three men and first three ladies, first junior male and female, and multiple veteran categories. Spot prizes are offered including a £50 prize for a course record. Results are published online on the evening of the event.
