Hogsback Half Marathon
The Hogsback Half Marathon is a 13.1 Miles road race held in Colebrook, Connecticut near Goodwin Dam and Durst Road. The course is USATF certified and follows lightly travelled country roads along the Farmington River, passing through Riverton, Pleasant Valley, Hartland and Colebrook. The course has a net elevation decrease of about 100 feet.
Amenities include pacers, race shirts, six aid stations with fluids and two stations also stocked with gels, custom finisher medals, electronic bib tag timing, and post race food. The event records awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and awards three deep in five year age divisions for male, female and non binary competitors; age groups begin at 18 and under and continue through 70 plus.
Proceeds from the race benefit Running for Rescues, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the rescue and care of shelter animals by funding vaccinations, spay and neuter, transport, boarding and foster care needs.
Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes September 25, 2026; the listed registration fee is $60. No race day registration is available.
