Hocking Hills Trail Run
The Hocking Hills Trail Run offers five distance options through Hocking Hills State Park, beginning at the Old Man's Cave visitor area. Courses use trails in both the state park and Hocking State Forest and pass notable park areas such as Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, and the Fire Tower. Trail surfaces include stream crossings, gorge overlooks, and climbs that add up to about 1,300 feet of elevation gain per 10 mile loop. Recent course changes reduce road sections so most distances are now mostly on trail.
