Hobart Light Night Glow Run
The Hobart Light Night Glow Run is an evening athletic event held at the Royal Hobart Regatta Grounds on Mcvilly Drive in Queens Domain. Following a previous edition in Devonport, the event brings an evening run and walk experience to Hobart. Participants are encouraged to wear bright glow gear as they navigate courses designed with music and a party atmosphere.
The event features several flat course options taking place primarily on the intercity cycleway. These courses utilize an out and back format along the paved trail. The available distances include:
- 8 km - A 2 km out and back circuit completed twice along the intercity cycleway.
- 4 km - A standard out and back road course along the cycleway.
- 2 km - A 1 km out and back route on the cycleway.
- 600 m - A short out and back course specifically for children aged nine years and under.
The event supports the fundraising organization SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY and is held at the Hobart Regatta Grounds.
