About the race
Peoria Hippity Hop Half Marathon is scheduled for March 27, 2027, at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona. The event offers several race options and a family-focused Cottontail Dash with an egg hunt.
The event distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Cottontail Dash (untimed half mile fun run)
- Virtual Run available with shipping included for items
The courses use the New River Trail System and are entirely on asphalt and concrete. All courses start and finish at Rio Vista Park; the trail system remains open to the public during the event. The event is limited to 800 participants in total, and the Cottontail Dash has a 125 person limit. The Cottontail Dash is split into two waves by age and provides a finisher medal and shirt for participants; parents who only accompany children on the course do not need to register.
Amenities and support include a custom finisher medal, a Dri-Fit tech shirt or a no-shirt option, age group awards for race day participants in the half marathon, 10K and 5K, and chip timing with real time results and photos. Water stations, restrooms, and GU gel locations are placed along each course according to distance.
