Event overview
The Tucson Hippity Hop is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park on East River Road in Tucson, Arizona. The event, produced by StartLine Racing, offers the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Cottontail Dash (untimed half mile fun run with an egg hunt)
- Virtual Run
The overall event is limited to 500 participants. The Cottontail Dash has a separate 125-person limit and may be split into two waves by age.
Logistics and race details
The half marathon and 10K are chip timed with real-time results and race-day photos available online or via mobile apps. All participants receive a custom event medal and a custom dri-fit tech shirt or tank; a no-shirt option is available for a reduced fee. Age-group awards for the top three finishers apply in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K (race day participants only).
Packet pickup is available Friday, April 3 at Road Runner Sports (7113 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ) and on race day. The course uses open-use asphalt and concrete trails, starting and ending at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park; the trail system remains open to the public during the event. Water and Gatorade are provided at specified mile markers for each distance, GU gels are placed on the half marathon course, and portable restrooms are located at listed mile points. There is a four-hour time limit for the half marathon and 10K. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed.
