Hip Hop 5K Las Vegas : event overview
The Hip Hop 5K in Las Vegas is scheduled for May 10, 2026 at 6675 South Tenaya Way #200, Las Vegas, NV 89113. The event is community powered; it is supported by donations and sponsorships and the date and final schedule are subject to change as planning continues.
Distances offered:
- 5K, two loops
- 1 Mile walk/run
- 3.1 Miles (The Queens 5k)
Course and safety information: The course is an out and back layout for the 5K and includes road closures on main streets including Rafeal Rivera Way and Tenaya Way. Traffic control signs and closed roads will be used for participant safety. Turns are clearly marked along the route.
On-course support and aid: A fully stocked water station is located along the course. The finish area includes an aid station with water, electrolytes, and fruit snacks. A first aid kit is available at each station.
Event logistics and participant items: Participants should wear their race bib on the front of their shirt for timing and photo tracking. There is no gear check, so participants should plan to carry personal items or leave them in a vehicle. All finishers receive a race medal; overall first male and female in each distance receive first place medals. Race results and photos will be sent by email after the event and some photos may be shared on Instagram. Race photos are free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
