Hilton Head Shamrock 5K - 31st Annual
The Hilton Head Shamrock 5K Run & Health Walk is a community 5-kilometre event held on March 14, 2026 at Lowcountry Celebration Park (94 Pope Ave), Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The event blends a themed St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere with running and walking; participants are encouraged to wear St. Patrick’s Day colors.
Organized by Bear Foot Sports, the event includes awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and for the top three finishers in each age category. All finishers receive green finishers beads and every registered participant receives a colorful Shamrock Run t-shirt. A “Beat the Leprechaun” feature awards a Shamrock Run gift to runners who finish ahead of the leprechaun (top 50). A portion of the event proceeds benefits The Rotary Club of Hilton Head / Sunset.
A post-race block party follows the results presentation and awards ceremony; refreshments, pizza, music, and door prizes are part of the post-race activities. Registration fee tiers are published and include early, pre-registration, advance, and race day pricing: early $32 through January 31, pre-registration $35 through March 6, advance $40 through March 13, and race day $45.
