Hilton Head End of Summer 5K
The Hilton Head End of Summer 5K is a community Run/Walk held at Coligny Beach on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, on September 5, 2026. The course runs along the south end beaches of the island and finishes at the same location. The event includes standard 5K distance options, and is open to a broad range of participants.
Registration is offered in two categories: a standard 5K registration with a fee of $35 and a student-discount 5K with a fee of $25. Standard registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026. The student-discount registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes September 3, 2026. A portion of event proceeds will support the Heritage Academy College Scholarship.
Awards include custom medals for the overall top male and female finishers and medals for the top three in each age division: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. The initial 300 participants receive an End of Summer 5K poly blend race shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 4, 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Palmetto Running Company, Hilton Head Island, and race morning at the start from 8:00 to 8:45 AM.
