Highland Fling Race
The Highland Fling Race is a 53-mile (85 km) ultra trail marathon held annually in Scotland, traversing the southern section of the iconic West Highland Way through Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. The point-to-point course runs from Milngavie near Glasgow to the village of Tyndrum, featuring 2,300 meters of ascent and 2,100 meters of descent over predominantly trail terrain (90%) with some road sections (10%). The route is fully waymarked, requiring no navigation skills.
The event offers chip timing, drop bag support, luggage transport, and post-race amenities including showers, food, massages, and an afterparty.
