High Valley Half
The High Valley Half is a point to point 1/2 Marathon held in Eastern Oregon that begins in Cove and finishes at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. The course leaves Dollar's Corner and follows High Valley Road toward Union.
Most of the course runs on gravel roads and includes nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain, with notable uphill sections followed by descents. Aid stations offering water and fuel are located just after miles 4, 7, and 11. Restrooms at the starting area are limited; there are restrooms at the finish and none along the course.
Logistics are race day centered: packet pick up occurs on race day, and online registration closes the night before the event. Race day registration is available but without a shirt or a guaranteed medal and the price increases by $5. Race t-shirts are included with registration through June 5, 2027. The event is organized by Run With Purpose Racing. There is no shuttle back to the starting line, and any gear left at the start or along the course will be donated to local runners.
