High Valley Half - June 20, 2026
The High Valley Half is a point to point half marathon that starts in Cove, OR at Dollar's Corner and finishes at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. The course follows High Valley Road after an initial short section out of town and is mostly on gravel.
The route includes nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain and several downhill sections. Aid stations supplying water and fuel are located shortly after miles 4, 7, and 11. There are no restrooms along the course; limited restroom facilities are available at the starting area and additional restrooms are provided at the finish.
Packet pick up takes place on race day. There is no shuttle service back to the starting area, so participants need to arrange their own transportation. Any gear left at the start will be kept in an unattended pile until late afternoon and unclaimed or abandoned items will be donated to local runners. Race t-shirts are included with registration through May 31, 2026.
