High Valley Half - June 26, 2027
The High Valley Half is a point to point half marathon from Cove, Oregon to Union, Oregon on June 26, 2027. The course starts at Dollar's Corner, goes out of town to the west, turns onto High Valley Road about a half mile in, and finishes at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. Much of the route is on gravel and includes nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
Aid stations with water and fuel are located shortly after miles 4, 7, and 11. Restroom facilities are limited at the starting area, available at the finish, and not provided along the course. Participants are asked to respect private property along the route. This is a point to point course with no shuttle back to the starting line, so participants must arrange their own return transportation.
Packet pickup is scheduled for race day. Race t-shirts are included with registration through June 5, 2027. Online registration closes the night before the event; race day registration is available without a shirt or a guaranteed medal and carries a five dollar increase. Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted on race morning. Any gear left at the start or along the course will be donated to local runners. The event is organized by Run With Purpose Racing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
