High Valley Half
The High Valley Half is a point to point half marathon that begins in Cove, OR and finishes at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. The course departs from the Dollar's Corner area and follows High Valley Rd to the finish.
The route is gravel for most of the distance and includes nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain. After about a half mile from the start, runners take a left onto High Valley Rd and follow it toward Union.
Aid stations with water and fuel are located just after miles 4, 7, and 11. Restroom facilities at the start are limited to one in a laundromat; there are restrooms at the finish but none along the course. Packet pick up will happen on race day starting at 6am.
This is a point to point event with no shuttle back to the starting area, so participants must arrange their own transportation. Any gear left at the start will be placed in an unattended pile and available for pick up until late afternoon; unclaimed items will be donated to local runners. Clothes left on course will be donated. Race t shirts are provided with registration through May 31, 2026. Registration closes on Fri, Jun 19 at 11:59 PM PT.
