Event overview
The High Point Sprint Triathlon and Youth Triathlon takes place on August 8, 2026 at Oak Hollow Marina, Oak Hollow Lake, 3431 North Centennial Street, High Point, NC 27265. The event is part of the Trivium Multisport Series and is sanctioned under USA Triathlon competitive rules. The swim start uses a rolling format based on reported swim times and a timing mat records swim start times. Parking is available at Oak Hollow Marina and a nearby field; parking is not allowed at the golf course. Early packet pickup is offered at Fleet Feet High Point.
Courses and categories
Adult and relay options are offered alongside youth races and a virtual triathlon. Distances listed for the main event and youth events include:
- Adult Sprint Triathlon: Swim 500 meters, Bike 11.9 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Aquabike: Swim 500 meters, Bike 11.9 miles
- Youth Long (Ages 11-15): Swim 200 yards, Bike 6 miles, Run 1.5 miles
- Youth Short (Ages 7-10): Swim 100 yards, Bike 3 miles, Run 0.75 miles
Ages 13-15 and 16-19 may choose the non-youth sprint option.
Logistics and awards
Entry options include individual, relay, aquabike, virtual, and youth categories. The event lists specific entry fees for each category on the registration page. Refunds are not available within 30 days of the event; earlier requests may be eligible for a 50% refund minus processing fees. Entries may be transferred to another person for a $5 fee but cannot be deferred to another event or year. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers, top three in five-year age groups, awards for Athena, Clydesdale, Masters Clydesdale, and top relay team.
