High Lodge 10K Guided Trail Run
This is a guided group trail run at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk (IP27 0AF) on 28 June 2026. The route distance is 10 km and the organiser is ESCAPE trails. Entry fee is £12.50 and parking for attendees is available at High Lodge for a £4 charge.
Runs are led at a conversational pace and participants are placed in groups by similar ability. When registering runners are asked for a rough 5k, 10k or half marathon time so organisers can assign groups. The event allows two hours for the session, with actual duration depending on the abilities of those attending.
The terrain includes hard-packed trails and single-track woodland trails. The route is described as mostly flat with very few obstacles. Trail shoes are recommended though road shoes are acceptable. Participants are asked to bring a waterproof jacket and sun cream depending on weather, at least 500 ml of water and any snacks they need. The run includes time for questions and an optional cool down and stretching after the guided portion.
