High Lodge 10K Guided Trail Run - December

Format and practical information
Runs are led at a conversational pace and participants are placed into groups based on a rough 5k, 10k or half-marathon time supplied at registration; those times are used only for group placement and are not the target running pace. The stated experience level is Easy - suitable for people who have run on the road and are taking initial steps into trail running. Terrain is described as mostly flat with very few obstacles, including hard-packed trails and single-track woodland trails. Trail shoes are recommended but road shoes are acceptable. There is parking at High Lodge with a charge of £3 for attendees. Recommended kit includes a waterproof jacket, sun cream depending on conditions, at least 500 ml of water and snacks.
