High Legh Robert Moffat Memorial 10K
The High Legh 10K is a commemorative road race held as the High Legh Robert Moffat Memorial Race. The event is a 10 km run organised in the High Legh area, with the next edition scheduled for 14 March 2027 and registration opening on 1 September 2026.
From 1 February each year some entry fees are donated to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), a local children’s charity noted as being close to the race route. The event keeps an archive of race results and publishes provisional results, including downloadable PDF result files.
Photographs from recent editions are collected and made available; images from the 2026 event are free to download for personal use. The 2026 finisher’s medal was produced on Welsh slate and was highlighted in event communications.
The race has received media recognition, including a recommendation in Runner’s World and a mention in The Guardian in 2017. Organisers publish race instructions and briefing documents for registered participants and maintain an online archive of past race information and results.
