Event Information
The Higgins Lake Sunrise Run takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Roscommon, Michigan. The event features several race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run
The half marathon course goes around the east side of Higgins Lake. It starts at the Higgins Lake North State Park and finishes at the Higgins Lake South State Park.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Packet pickup and registration are available on Friday, June 19, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the NMCAC (back side of the CRAF center) on 112 S 4th St in Roscommon. On race day, Saturday, June 20, packet pickup is available from 6:30 AM to 8:40 AM at the South State Park Camp Store Pavilion on 114 State Park Drive.
Pricing
Registration prices are listed per event. For the half marathon, the standard price is $50, increasing from $65 after March 1, 2026. The standard price for the 10K and 5K events is $30, increasing from $45 after March 1, 2026. The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run costs $10, with registration closing on June 1, 2026.
