Higgins Lake Sunrise Run
The Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center organizes the Higgins Lake Sunrise Run on June 20, 2026, in Roscommon, Michigan. The event includes a half marathon around the east side of Higgins Lake and additional shorter races on the same day.
The half marathon starts at Higgins Lake North State Park and finishes at Higgins Lake South State Park. Race day also features a 10K run, a 5K run/walk, and a 1-mile Kids Fun Run.

Packet pick-up is available Friday, June 19 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center (back side of the CRAF center), 112 S 4th St, Roscommon, MI 48653, and Saturday, June 20 from 6:30 AM to 8:40 AM at the South State Park Camp Store Pavilion, 114 State Park Drive, Roscommon, MI 48653. Registration opens November 28, 2025; most races list registration closing December 31, 2025, while the 1-mile Kids Fun Run registration closes June 1, 2026. Published entry fees are $45 for the half marathon, $25 for the 10K and 5K, and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
