Hessequa Heritage Trail Run : Stilbaai
The Hessequa Heritage Trail Run is an annual trail-running event in the Stilbaai area that offers two organised distances and a route passing several local heritage and coastal sites. The event starts in nearby coastal locations and finishes at the Jagersbosch Community Care Centre in Stilbaai. Participants pass places such as the ancient fish traps at Skulpiesbaai, local shell middens, monuments, old beach houses, and a fishing boat on display near the harbour.

Entry fees are set per distance and all entrants receive a race number and a unique finisher medal. Registration is required before the race; entries are accepted online, by submitted entry form, or at designated registration sessions prior to race day. Only one bus shuttle is provided to each starting point from the main registration/parking area; participants who miss the shuttle must arrange their own transport. Organisers request that vehicles be parked at Bertie Barnard Primary School rather than at the tourism bureau due to limited parking.
The 16 km route includes a water table on course; the 5 km route does not provide a water table so participants should carry their own water. There is no seeding; participants mass-start per distance. Sweepers follow the last runners and medical assistance is available. There is no finish cutoff time.
