White River 5K Run and Panther Prowl Kids Race
The event is held in Hesperia, Michigan, at the Hesperia Dam area behind Ed's Orchard Market, 75 W Michigan Ave. The 5K course is a flat out-and-back route that crosses the White River at the dam.

- 5K Walk
- 800 m (Panther Prowl Kids 1/2 mile)
Registration opens March 28 and closes July 2. The standard fee for the 5K run and walk is $25; online fees increase to $30 after July 2. The Panther Prowl entry fee is $5 and increases to $10 after July 2. T-shirts are guaranteed only for preregistrations by June 20; extra shirts will be distributed day of race on a first-come, first-served basis. The Panther Prowl does not include a shirt.
All finishers in each event receive an award handed out in the chute. Additional awards are given to Open and Masters winners. Two team awards are offered for the 5K run: a Fastest Team award timed by each team’s top three runners, and a Largest Team award by number. Teams require a minimum of three people and should be identified during registration.
