Event overview
The Hermes Half a Half Marathon takes place on March 21, 2026. Established in 2022, the race is held in Lakewood, Ohio, in the Rocky River Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. The course starts and finishes at the Emerald Necklace Marina. The event is a chip-timed, out-and-back race covering 6.55 miles. The course is fully on pavement and is split between road and all-purpose trail. The race has a participant cap of 500.
Race features and partners
The event includes an Early Start Walk Corral option for power walkers. Participants receive a finisher medal, a race swag item, a custom bib, and post-race food and refreshments. The race also offers a "Fast Last Mile" incentive to encourage a strong finish. The Hunger Network is the event partner; support and participation go directly to the organization and its stated vision: no one goes hungry and no food goes to waste. Around the Corner in Lakewood provides a complimentary Buckeye Vodka cocktail or soft drink to runners who show their race bib, along with special brunch offers and a post-race celebration.
