Hermes Dead Sprint
Hermes Dead Sprint takes place on October 31, 2026 at McCarthy's Downtown, 1231 Main Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113. The event includes a post-race party inside McCarthy's Downtown and a costume contest with separate adult and child winners.

- 30 yards Little Monsters Candy Dash (ages 8 and under)
The 5K is chip-timed with MyLaps bib-tag timing. The Little Monsters Candy Dash is a non-timed short route where young children dash for Halloween candy provided by b.a. Sweetie Candy Company.
Registration information notes a registration opening on July 17. Pre-registration for the 5K through October 13 is listed at $35; a later registration fee of $40 is listed thereafter. The Little Monsters Candy Dash entry fee is $15. Early packet pickup is available on October 29 at McCarthy's Downtown.
Participants receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Additional items include a commemorative race cup while supplies last, one Surfside vodka drink for participants 21 or older via a drink tab on the race bib, and entrance into the post-race party. Brunch and drink specials are available for purchase at the venue.
Awards for the 5K include custom trophies for top male and female overall, plus custom pint-glass awards for the top three in multiple age categories from 14 & under through 70 & over. Dogs are allowed at the event site but are not permitted inside McCarthy's Downtown. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
