Hermes Dead Sprint

Hermes Dead Sprint is a Halloween themed running event held at McCarthy's Downtown in Cleveland, Ohio. The event features a main 5K run and a short Little Monsters Candy Dash for children age eight and under. Dogs are allowed at the event area but are not permitted inside McCarthy's Downtown.

Participants receive a long sleeve race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a commemorative race cup while supplies last. The 5K is chip timed using MyLaps Bib-Tag timing. One Surfside vodka drink is included for participants 21 or older by redeeming the drink tab on the race bib. A post race party takes place inside McCarthy's Downtown with food and drink specials available for purchase.

The event includes a costume contest with separate adult and child winners, Halloween candy for kids, and searchable race photos. Awards for the 5K include custom trophies for overall top male and female finishers and custom pint glasses for the top three men and women in multiple age groups.
