Event Overview
The Hermes Dead Sprint is a Halloween-themed running event held on a Saturday in October. The event includes two separate activities: a 5K run and a Little Monsters Candy Dash for children aged 8 and under.
Location & Activities
The event takes place at McCarthy's Downtown in Cleveland, Ohio. The course for the 5K run goes around the Flats and Whiskey Island areas, passing landmarks like the old Coast Guard Station, the Ontario Stone building, and the Wendy Park Bridge. The post-race party, called the Survival Party, is held inside McCarthy's Downtown. Dogs are allowed at the outdoor event but not inside the venue.
Included with Registration
All participants receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a commemorative race cup (while supplies last). The 5K is a chip-timed race.
Registration Information
Registration fees vary:
- 5K Run: $35 through October 13; $40 from October 14 through race day.
- Little Monsters Candy Dash: $15 for ages 8 and under.
