Heritage Eagles 5K : Littleton, Colorado
The Heritage Eagles 5K is a community road race held at Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado on July 18, 2026. The event supports the Heritage Eagles Cross Country program; ten dollars from each registration goes directly to the program and last year’s event raised over $3,500.
The course follows the Liberty Bell cross-country route, a Colorado high school course used for more than 45 years. The route is an out and back that combines neighborhood streets with smooth crushed gravel paths along the High Line Canal. Elevation ranges from 5,434 ft to 5,521 ft, with 72 ft of elevation gain and 128 ft of elevation loss.
Registration fees listed before race day are $25 and race day registration is $40. Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at Heritage High School and opens on race day morning. Parking is available in the Heritage High School parking lot.
Registered participants receive a complimentary pancake breakfast from Flippin’ Flap Jacks, with sausage and orange juice. Race T-shirts are available for an additional $14 if ordered by June 29; the shirts are fitted and participants are advised to choose a larger size for a looser fit. Awards include a 3.5 inch die-cast medal for the top three in each age group and additional awards for male and female overall winners. Sixty two medals are planned for race day.
