Heritage Eagles 5K
The Heritage Eagles 5K is a fundraising running event held on July 18, 2026 at Heritage High School, 1401 W Geddes Ave, Littleton, CO 80120. The event supports the Heritage Eagles Cross Country Team; ten dollars from each registration is designated for the cross country program and last year’s event raised over $3,500 for the team.
The course follows the Liberty Bell out-and-back route, combining neighborhood streets with crushed gravel paths along the High Line Canal. Course statistics listed by the organizer include an elevation gain of 72 ft, an elevation loss of 128 ft, a minimum elevation of 5,434 ft, and a maximum elevation of 5,521 ft.
Registered participants are offered a post-race pancake breakfast from Flippin’ Flap Jacks, which includes sausage and orange juice at no extra charge. A race T-shirt is available for purchase during registration for $14; orders placed by June 29 are guaranteed. The shirt is a fitted style and participants are advised to select a larger size for a looser fit.
Awards include a custom 3.5 inch die-cast medal with a unique lanyard for the top three finishers in each age group, plus overall male and female winners.
