Heritage Eagles 5K : Littleton, Colorado
The Heritage Eagles 5K is the ninth annual fundraising race for the Heritage Eagles Cross Country Team, held at Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado on July 18, 2026. The event donates ten dollars from each registration directly to the cross country program; the prior year’s event raised over $3,500 for the team.
The course follows the Liberty Bell out and back route, a local high school cross country tradition for over 45 years. The route combines neighborhood streets with smooth crushed gravel paths along the High Line Canal. Elevation data for the course lists a gain of 72 ft, a loss of 128 ft, a minimum elevation of 5,434 ft and a maximum elevation of 5,521 ft.
Registration information includes a standard fee of $25 and a race day registration fee of $40. Participants may add a fitted race T shirt for $14; ordering by June 29 guarantees a shirt and sizing guidance recommends sizing up for a looser fit. Packet pickup is available the day before at Heritage High School and on race morning at the start area. Parking is available in the Heritage High School parking lot.
Awards include custom 3.5 inch die cast medals for the top three in each age group and separate overall male and female winner awards. Age group categories run from 10 and under through 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
