Event Overview
The Heritage All Day 5k takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Clearwater, Florida. This will be the event's fifth annual edition. The main event is a 5k distance. Participants can choose their start time later during registration. There is also a kids fun run.
Course and Format
The 5k route was created in 2021. It is designed to encircle a church, a local school, and the surrounding neighborhood. The event's name, "All Day 5k," comes from its format, which features four separate race waves throughout the morning. Each wave runs two loops of the course. Since its start, the event reports participants have collectively circled the community 864 times.
Supporting Events
The race day concludes with a kids fun run at 11:00 AM. This event includes laps in a parking lot, music, popsicles, and a bounce house. The weekend also features a pre-race dinner the night before, held at Heritage and catered by a locally owned pizza restaurant. Separate meal tickets are sold for this dinner.
Mission and Community Impact
The event format is designed to symbolize the power of prayer and community support. All funds raised from the event, including the pre-race dinner and associated raffle, go directly to supporting the foster care ministries of Heritage. The dinner includes a presentation about the importance of foster care and the need for such services in the Tampa Bay area. To date, the event has raised over $44,000 for its mission.
