Herbie's Home Town Loop 4 Mile Run/Walk

The event is the 20th annual Herbie's Home Town Loop, a community 4 mile run and walk held at Bellefonte Area High School with a course that begins and ends at the school track and traverses the perimeter of Bellefonte. The course is wheel measured.
Awards include RAPID TRANSIT gift cards for the overall top male and female finishers and awards for the top three individuals in multiple age groups: 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up. A special Nittany Lion statue will be awarded to the top 20 to 29 year old. A Bellefonte cross country alumni award is listed as new for this year.
Event amenities include refreshments, a time clock at the finish, mile splits, entertainment, kids activities, and family oriented activities at the track. A silent auction will take place at the race. A shuttle from the high school provides access to the Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair in downtown Bellefonte, which runs the same weekend.
Entry fees are $30 for registrations received by August 6, 2026 and $35 thereafter and on race day. T shirts are guaranteed to the first 50 entrants. Free parking is available at Bellefonte Area High School. NVRC members receive a $5 discount. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
