Helvellyn Triathlon 2026 : Glenridding, 06 September 2026
The Helvellyn Triathlon on 06 September 2026 takes place at Jenkins Field in Glenridding, near Penrith. The event is organised by TBF Events and offers individual, aquabike and team relay formats.
The race course comprises an open-water swim in Lake Ullswater, a road bike leg that follows the A592 and local roads, and a fell run that finishes on terrain around Helvellyn. Distinct features of the bike route include climbs past Matterdale End, sections beside Thirlmere, passage through Ambleside and the climb known as The Struggle up to the Kirkstone Pass. The route includes a technical and fast descent into transition. The final run segment is off-road fell running on rugged terrain near Helvellyn; Helvellyn is England's third highest mountain.

- Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 59 km bike, 15 km run
- Aquabike: 1.5 km swim, 59 km bike
- Team relay: 1.5 km swim, 59 km bike, 15 km run
