Helsingborg Marathon
Helsingborg Marathon is scheduled for 4 September 2027 and is certified as a World Athletics Road Race for 2027. The race starts at Sundstorget and covers 42 195 meter on a loop that presents both city and coastal environments. There are 3000 startplatser and a startavgift of 1100 kr.
The course runs south from Sundstorget past landmarks such as Dunkers Kulturhus, Råå småbåtshamn, Ättekulla naturreservat, Ramlösa brunnspark, Jordbodalen and Fredriksdal museer och trädgårdar. The route continues via Helsingborg Arena, Olympia, Kärnan, Pålsjö skog and Laröd before descending Tinkarpsbacken and approaching the seaside finish on Gröningen. The final 3000 meters are marked with a countdown every 100 meters; the finish area includes a wooden deck by the water.
Vätskestationer are placed along the course at recorded kilometers including 3.1, 6.7, 10.1, 13.1, 16.6, 20.1, 23.4, 25.7, 29.9, 32.3, 36.8 and 39.9 km. Stations serve water and Umara U Sport; several also offer fruit, Pepsi, Battery energy drink, saltgurka and chips.
Course facts: total ascent 135 meter (270 meter total up and down), surface about 89% asphalt, 10% hardpacked gravel and 1% other. Practical services around the event include pacers, live music, live tracking and livestream, medical support, transport for broken races, postrace massage, sauna and showers, a medal and a personal digital finish film and diploma.
