Hell on Hogsback: Endurance Challenge

Hell on Hogsback is a looped hill endurance event held at Stinchcomb-Groth Memorial Hill in the Rocky River Reservation near Cleveland, Ohio. The course is a 1.1 mile loop with about 140 ft of elevation gain and loss per lap and an average 12% grade. Runners descend from the top of the hill, follow Hogsback Lane to a turnaround cone, and return up to the top, finishing with a short loop through the parking lot and an upper single trail hill. Aid stations, tents, and vendors are located near the parking area.

The event operates with a fundraising mission called #EndureForCancer. The organizer aims to raise $34,000 across 400+ registrants to support three cancer patients who need help funding surgical or medical procedures. After the event the race committee will select recipients and hand deliver checks funded by race proceeds. Donations are accepted through the event website.
