Hell on Hogsback

Hell on Hogsback is an endurance running event in Cleveland, Ohio held on August 29, 2026. The event raises funds for people facing cancer, with 100% of registrations and donations distributed directly to patients and families through the Nelson Family Foundation.

Support on course includes a fully stocked aid station, on-site medical and physical therapy, nutrition and hydration assistance, and post-event recovery with SISU saunas and cold plunges. Final distances are recorded as total completed laps within each athlete’s chosen time window; tied competitors resolve ties by completing one additional lap.

The Nelson Family Foundation vets beneficiaries and delivers funds with no overhead or intermediaries. Hogsback Run Club offers monthly community runs at the race site from March through August, meeting at Stinchcomb-Groth Memorial Hill with parking available on site.
