Hell Of A Half Marathon & 2 Person Relay
The Hell Of A Half Marathon takes place in Exeter, California, during the month of August. This event represents the second race in the Run The Valley Half Marathon Series. The course is known for hot weather conditions and a route described as the road less traveled.
Participants can choose from the following event distances and formats:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Virtual Half Marathon
- Coed 2-Person Relay
- Male 2-Person Relay
- Female 2-Person Relay
The 2-person relay includes shuttle transportation for runners. Runner 1 starts with a timing tag and must transfer it to Runner 2 at the designated exchange zone on E. Myer Drive.
The course features 11 aid stations equipped with water, ice, sponges, Gatorade, and GU gels. Support services include free race photos, live results, and race tracking. The finish area hosts a post-race party with music from DJs, a free breakfast provided by local caterers, and a beer garden. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in age groups and relay divisions, along with overall male and female winners. All finishers receive a medal, and participants receive either a women's tech tank top or a men's short-sleeve tech shirt. The event supports the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
