About the race
Hell & Back Endure is a 12-hour last-person-standing endurance event held at Killruddery Estate in Bray, Co. Wicklow on Saturday 19th September 2026. Competitors run a repeated 5KM obstacle lap through forest trails and signature obstacles; the format requires completing each lap within the hour to continue. The event emphasizes survival and endurance rather than speed.
Each lap returns participants to a central start/finish arena where personal aid stations, camping and parking are located. Between laps athletes may use their personal aid station to recover, refuel and reset, or remain at the start area to prepare for the next lap. Optional onsite camping is available the night before the race; each camping booking provides a 5m x 5m pitch that also serves as the personal aid station on race day. Event capacity is limited and a sold out Gold Circle aid station option is noted, with a remaining Standard aid station fee listed at €115 per person.
A camping pitch is priced at €35 per pitch. The event price includes parking for one vehicle and a mandatory personal accident insurance fee. There are no timing chips; participants should use their own watches to pace each lap. The official finisher’s medal is awarded only to those still standing after the full 12 hours.
