Heckscher State Park Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K GLIRC 2027
The event is scheduled for March 27, 2027 at Heckscher State Park, Field 2, in East Islip, New York. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event date.

Runners receive a long sleeved shirt and finishers receive medals. The marathon, half marathon and 5K are USATF certified, and the marathon is a Boston qualifier. Light refreshments and food from All Round Foods are provided after the races. A heated tent will be available on site. Live online, text and email results are provided and finish line photos and same day video are offered free to participants. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards include top three male and female overall, top three male and female in the listed age groups from 15-19 through 80 plus, top male and female masters, and top three male and female age graded.
Pre-race bib pickup is scheduled for Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27 at Runner's Edge in Farmingdale. Race day pickup is available at Field 2 beginning one hour before the start; a self lookup area is provided for runners who do not know their bib number. Course maps are provided for each distance.
