Event overview
The GLIRC Heckscher State Park Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K takes place on March 28, 2026 at Heckscher State Park in East Islip, New York. The event offers three distances: a marathon, a half marathon and a 5K. The marathon is a Boston qualifier and all three distances are USATF certified. Course maps are provided for the 5K, half marathon and marathon. Registration fees vary by distance and by registration date; discounted entry is available for GLIRC members, veterans and seniors.
