Heckscher State Park Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K
The event is held at Heckscher State Park, Field 2, in East Islip, New York. It offers three race distances and USATF certification for each course.
The distances include:
- Marathon (USATF certified, Boston qualifier)
- Half Marathon (USATF certified)
- 5K (USATF certified)
Amenities provided to participants include a long-sleeved race shirt, medals for all finishers, light refreshments, a heated tent, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and same day video and finish line pictures. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall, top three in standard age groups from 15-19 through 80 plus, top masters, and top age graded performers.
Bibs may be picked up before the race at Runner's Edge in Farmingdale and on race day at Field 2. Course maps are produced for the 5K, half marathon, and marathon distances. Lodging information lists a Courtyard by Marriott in Islip.
