Heckington 10 Mile Road Race

The Heckington 10 is a 10 mile road race held as part of the annual Heckington Show. First run in 1965, it is described as the oldest road race in the Midlands. The event forms one part of the show programme, which is a fund raising event for the Heckington & District Agricultural Society, a registered charity for the advancement of agriculture, horticulture and rural crafts.

The 2027 edition takes place on Saturday 24 July 2027 and will be limited to 450 entrants. Organisers use chip timing to record results. The race is run in association with Sleaford Striders Athletics Club. Sponsors for the event include Tesco Stores. Results and entry lists have been published for previous years and the race is presented as an established road running fixture within the Heckington Show weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
