Heartbeat of Toledo's Diaper Dash
The Heartbeat of Toledo's Diaper Dash is a community sports event held in Maumee, Ohio. Participants can choose between two distinct movement options:
- 5K run (approximately 3.1 miles)
- 1 mile walk
The 5K route takes participants through the residential areas of uptown Maumee and follows a path along the Maumee River. The 1 mile walking course is contained within the residential uptown Maumee neighborhood. Both events utilize a central location for the start and finish, situated at the Heartbeat of Toledo office on West Wayne Street.
The event provides an opportunity for attendees to view the office space and learn about the organization's programming through available tours. As part of the event's charitable focus, participants are requested to bring a donation consisting of a pack of diapers or wipes. these items are used to stock boutique locations in Maumee and Toledo that serve local needs.
