Healthy Hero Hustle 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair
The Healthy Hero Hustle is a community 5K run/walk and health fair held at the Fountain Loop on the West Virginia Wesleyan College campus in Buckhannon, WV on September 19, 2026. The event is presented by WVU Medicine St. Joseph's Hospital and West Virginia Wesleyan College and includes a community health fair alongside the run/walk.
Funds raised from the event will benefit the Student Nurses of Wesleyan (SNOW). The 5K will be professionally timed by Appalachian Timing Group. The event has a superhero theme and participants may dress in superhero gear.
Registration follows tiered pricing: early registration through August 28 guarantees a race t-shirt and a swag bag; late registration from August 29 through September 17 increases the fee and guarantees a swag bag but no t-shirt; day-of registration carries a higher fee, with swag bags not guaranteed and no t-shirt. Children ages 0 to 5 may register free but will not receive a t-shirt. Registration opens June 1 and registration processing is closed on September 18 to prepare bibs, though day-of registration is available.
