About the race
The Headstrong 5K is a community running event scheduled for October 3, 2026 at Marshfield High School, 167 Forest Street, Marshfield, MA 02050. The event is the second annual edition and was created in memory of people lost to brain aneurysms. It raises awareness about brain aneurysms and supports the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
Two participation options are offered: an in person 5K and a virtual 5K. Both options cover a distance of 3.2 Miles. In person registration opens July 21, 2026 and closes August 4, 2026; the registration fee is $25. Virtual registration opens July 21, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026; the registration fee is $15. The virtual option allows participants to run or walk from any location at their own pace while supporting the same cause. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
